The Terms of Service govern all aspects of the use of Modoodoc's services. These terms outline the necessary provisions for the use of the various services provided by Modoodoc.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between Modoodoc Inc. ("Company") and users ("Members") regarding the use of the Modoodoc application ("Service"). These Terms define the conditions for membership, usage guidelines, and other necessary matters.
2.1. “Service” : The online and mobile services provided by the Company that allow Members to access and use Modoodoc and related services, regardless of the device used (PC, TV, mobile devices).
2.2. “Member” : An individual who has registered an account with the Service and is authorized to use it.
2.3. “ID” : A unique identifier (email address) assigned to a Member for authentication and service access.
2.4. “Password” : A combination of characters and numbers created by the Member to protect their account.
2.5. “Device” : Any electronic device used to access the Service, including computers, mobile phones, and tablets.
2.6. “Termination” : The cancellation of the contract between the Company and the Member.
2.7. “Content” : Any form of text, audio, video, images, files, or links posted by Members on the Service.
2.8. “Points” : Virtual credits earned through Service activities that can be used for purchases within the platform, subject to Company policies.
2.9. “Affiliated Hospitals” : Medical institutions participating in the Service, using a system provided by the Company to promote their hospital, medical staff, and treatments to Members.
3.1. The “Company” will make these Terms accessible on the Service's homepage to ensure Members can easily review them.
3.2. The “Company” may amend these Terms in compliance with applicable laws, including the Korean Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, the Korean Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection ("Information and Communications Network Act"), the Korean Electronic Financial Transactions Act, the Korean Electronic Commerce Act, the Korean Digital Signature Act, the Korean Framework Act on Consumers, and the Korean Door-to-Door Sales Act.
3.3. If these Terms are modified, the “Company” will notify “Members” at least 14 days prior to the effective date via public notice and/or direct notifications through electronic means such as email or in-app messages. If the modifications disadvantage Members, additional notice will be provided.
